5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off, unplug it from the mains and allow it to cool
-
down. You can clean the outside of the heater with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth or a soft
brush. You can also use a damp (not wet!) cloth with a non-aggressive cleaning agent.
Please note that the lamp must be completely dry before it is switched on again. Do not
-
use aggressive cleaning agents, scouring pads, brushes, or chemical cleaning agents, as
these may damage the material. In addition, never use flammable cleaning agents such as
paraffin or alcohol.
Never immerse the plug, power cord or any other part of the appliance in water or any
-
other type of liquid. As it may cause electric shocks.
Maintenance
The heater does not include any parts that require maintenance or need to be replaced/
-
repaired by the user. Therefore, the appliance must not be disassembled by unqualified
persons. For safety reasons, the heater must be replaced by a qualified electrician or an
approved service company.
Damage and malfunctions resulting from repairs or modifications made by the user
-
to the appliance, accidents, misuse, neglect, improper or inadequate maintenance and
commercial use invalidate the warranty.
