Precautions
Failure to comply with these precautions
may result in serious damage to objects
and plants or harm to animals.
When effecting maintenance on the device,
use appropriate manual tools and equip-
ment; in particular, make sure that the
grips are intact and correctly secured.
Make sure that any electrical devices used
are appropriate for the intended use; in
particular, make sure that the power sup-
ply cable is intact and that the plug is cor-
rectly secured.
Moreover, make sure that the path of the
cable is not impeded.
Descale the components, in accordance
with the instructions provided in the safety
data sheet of the product used. Provide
adequate ventilation in the room, wear
protective clothing, avoid mixing different
products, and protect the device and sur-
rounding objects.
Before performing any work on the de-
vice, shut off the power supply using the
external switch, since the zone module is
always powered. To ensure the safety and
correct operation of the module, the latter
must be started-up by a legally qualifi ed
and authorised technician.
Routine maintenance
The entire sanitary water system - includ-
ing the module - must be checked for pre-
cautionary reasons once a year.
It is important to check the following:
- All the threaded or welded fi ttings of the
system.
Replacing the safety thermostat
In order to replace the safety thermostat, it
is necessary to cut the connector's locking
band.
Upon completing the operation, the locking
band must be replaced with one of a simi-
lar kind.
Rearming the safety thermostat
In case of interruption in the circulator's
operation due to the intervention of the
safety thermostat, the latter must be man-
ually rearmed after removing the locking
band and connector.
Upon completing the rearm operation, the
connector must be locked once again with
a similar band.
