Safety information
3.1 General safety information
- Disconnect the plug from the socket and/or remove a detachable battery before making any
adjustments to the device, changing any accessories, or laying aside the power tool. This precaution
prevents the unintentional start of the power tool.
- Take the machine off the guiding device.
- Set the machine's cutting depth to at least 30 mm.
Then push the catch of the plastic spring guide 1
upwards with your one hand. Use your other hand
to remove the machine from the guide rail to the
rear.

Exchange of splinter guard
To replace the splinter guard, proceed as follows:
1.
Unscrew the two screws 6 anti-clockwise with a
torx 20 screwdriver.
2.
Remove the plastic stop plate 2.
3.
Pull off the old splinter guard.
4.
Clean the adhesive surface e.g. with spirit or
isopropanol. The adhesive surface must be free
of adhesive residues, dirt and grease.
