5 Connecting piece F-VS (optional accessories)
The connecting piece F-VS serves to connect two guide rails F or a guide rail F with an optional accessory (angle
fence F-WA and suction clamping system Aerofix F-AF1).
Proceed as follows to use the connecting piece
F-VS:
1. Push the connecting piece F-VS laterally into
the guide rail F up to the centre marker and
fasten with two eccentric screws.
2. Push the second rail or the optional accessory
onto the connecting piece F-VS until the two
parts to be joined abut.
3. Fasten the two parts with the other two
eccentric screws.
➢ The two parts to be connected are aligned
in longitudinal direction by means of the
connecting piece.
If the connecting piece F-VS is not used, completely push it in and fasten it with eccentric screws or remove it.
6 Angle fence F-WA (optional accessories)
The sliding bevel F-WA allows bevel cuts between - 45° and 60° to be performed. The sliding bevel F-WA can
be connected with any guide rail F with a connecting piece F-VS.
For bevel cuts, follow the procedure below:
1. Set the degrees for the bevel cut by means of
the scale (5) fasten the locking device (6).
2. Align the sliding bevel with the workpiece.
3. Cut the workpiece with the set angle.
In the 90° position, the rail length of the sliding bevel F-WA is 200 mm [7.87 in].
With the setting on 0°, push the pointer into the notch with your thumb, keep depressed
and fasten the locking device.
