NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar
with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified
electrician.

MOUNTING OVER RECESSED JUNCTION BOX
NOTE: Knockouts are provided for use with 4" octagonal or 4"
square junction boxes.
1. Remove the four screws attaching the lens diffuser to the housing
and set the screws and lens aside.
2. Unscrew the (4) screws attaching the LED mounting plate/reflector
to the housing. See Figure 1. Pry open the LED mounting plate/
reflector using a screwdriver in the opening slots on the sides of
the LED mounting plate/reflector. See Figure 2.
3. Disconnect the two halves of the quick disconnect connector
attaching the driver to the LED mounting plate/reflector. Set LED
mounting plate/reflector aside for later use.
4. Remove ¾" plug in back wall of fixture for wiring access.
5. Drill/remove appropriate knockouts in back wall of housing for
mounting over chosen junction box.
NOTE: Fixture should not be supported exclusively by junction
box. Additional support should be provided using customer
supplied fasteners in (4) corners of housing. Drill points are
provided in (4) corners of housing. See Figure 3.
6. Route the incoming power leads through the hole in the back wall
of the fixture.
7. Attach housing to mounting surface and junction box using
customer supplied hardware.
NOTE: For wet locations, high grade caulking material, such
as silicone rubber, should be used between back gasket and
mounting surface and at all screw locations to ensure a watertight
enclosure.
8. Complete the wiring to the incoming power per the Electrical
Connections section.
9. Select the desired CCT and wattage using the switches on the
back wall of the housing. See Figure 4.
NOTE: Factory settings are 100% wattage and 4000K.
10. Reconnect the two halves of the quick disconnect connector that
were disconnected in STEP 3.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT allow the LED mounting plate/reflector
to hang from the wires connecting the plate to the driver after
connecting.
11. Position LED mounting plate/reflector on housing and secure by
retightening the (4) screws in the corners.
NOTE: Make sure no wires are pinched when attaching plate.
12. Remove the protective cover over the LEDs and discard. See
Figure 5.
NOTE: Do NOT touch the LEDs or the wiring coming from the
circuit board during the installation process.
13. Replace the lens diffuser on housing and tighten the screws in
the (4) corners. Gradually tighten lens screws in an "X" pattern to
prevent lens damage.
NOTE: Do not overtighten lens screws to prevent damage to lens.
