INSTALLING THE WHEELS
See Figure 2, page 8.
NOTE: Do not operate the fan or connect the power cord or
battery pack without first installing the wheels onto the frame.
„ Locate the washers, wheels, bolts, and wheel caps.
„ Slide the plastic washer onto the axle.
„ Slide wheel onto axle, making sure the inner bushing is
fully inside wheel hole.
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless.
Remember that a careless fraction of a second is suf-
ficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING:
Do not use any attachments or accessories not recom-
mended by the manufacturer of this tool. The use of
attachments or accessories not recommended can result
in serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Always remove battery pack or unplug extension cord
from your product when you are assembling parts, mak-
ing adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing
battery pack or unplugging extension cord will prevent
accidental starting that could cause serious personal
injury.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this tool for the purpose listed below:
„ General ventilation of most household spaces
WARNING:
Hybrid tools are always in operating condition. Therefore,
switch should always be in the OFF ( 0 ) position when
not in use.
ASSEMBLY
„ Slide the lock washer and the metal washer over the bolt.
„ Insert bolt with washers through wheel hole into axle.
„ Use a screwdriver, not provided, to tighen bolt until lock
washer and metal washer are flush with the wheel.
„ Push wheel cap into wheel to cover the bolt.
„ Repeat with the second wheel.
OPERATION
NOTICE:
This product is designed to be powered by either a
RYOBI
40V battery pack (DC mode) or by electric power
(AC mode). Either power source can be used by installing
an approved battery pack or power cord into the product
as described in this manual.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 3, page 9.
To install:
„ Place the speed switch in the OFF ( 0 ) position.
„ Align raised ribs on battery pack with grooves in the tool's
battery port and place the battery pack in the tool.
WARNING:
Make sure the latch on the bottom of the battery pack
snaps in place and the battery pack is fully seated and
secure in the tool battery port before beginning operation.
Failure to securely seat the battery pack could cause the
battery pack to fall out, resulting in serious personal injury.
To remove:
„ Press and hold the battery latch button at the bottom of
the battery pack.
„ Remove battery pack from the tool.

als for your battery pack and charger.
