• This appliance must be grounded. The microwave is equipped with a power cord that has a
grounding wire and plug. It must be plugged into a wall outlet that is properly installed and
grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric
shock by providing an escape wire for electric current. It is recommended that a separate
circuit be provided to serve only the oven. The use of high voltage is dangerous and may
cause a fire or other accident that may cause damage to the microwave.
Warning: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
Note:
• If you have any questions about grounding or electrical instructions, consult a qualified
electrician or service person.
• Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer can accept any responsibility for damage to the
oven or personal injury resulting from failure to follow electrical connection procedures.
• The wires are colored according to the following code:
Green and yellow = Ground / Blue = Neutral / Brown = Phase
Operation of the microwave oven may cause interference to your radio, television, or similar
equipment. When there is interference, it can be reduced or eliminated by taking the follow-
ing measures:
1. Clean the door and the sealing surface of the oven.
2. Reorient the radio or television receiving antenna.
3. Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver.
4. Move the microwave oven away from the receiver.
5. Plug the microwave oven into a different outlet so that the microwave oven and receiver
are on different branch circuits.
Before calling the technical service, check the following aspects:
• Check that your oven is plugged in correctly. If not, remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10
seconds, and plug it back in.
• Check that no fuse has blown or the main power switch has tripped. If everything seems to
work normally, check the outlet with another appliance.
• Make sure the control panel and timer have been set correctly.
• Check that the door closes correctly by checking the security locking system. If the door is
not closed properly, the microwave energy will not work inside.
If nothing described above solves the problem, contact a qualified technician. Do not at-
tempt to adjust or repair the oven yourself.
