Important warnings
The welding helmet is not a toy and is not suitable for children. Keep out of reach of children!
The hood is not suitable for laser and autogen welding.
Never place the hood on a hot surface.
Do not manipulate or modify the filter in any way, beyond the scope of the instructions in this
manual.
Do not use other spare parts than those specified in this manual. In the case of unprofessional
modifications and the use of non-approved parts, the warranty expires and the user is exposed
to the risk of injury.
The hood does not protect when working with explosives and caustics.
Before use, make sure your hood is set for the correct type of work - welding/grinding.
The hood does not protect against physical impacts.
If the screen does not darken when the arc is ignited, stop welding immediately, check the
hood settings, or contact your supervisor or your supplier.
Do not soak the filter. If necessary, wipe the filter with a damp cloth.
Do not use solvents to clean the visor or other parts of the hood.
Protect the screen from contact with liquids and dirt.
Clean the screen surfaces regularly, but do not use too strong cleaning solutions. Keep the
sensors and solar cells clean with a clean, lint-free cloth.
If the protective screen is damaged or scratched, replace it immediately.
If you do not respect the above warnings and instructions for use, you risk serious injury and
void the warranty.
Neither the manufacturer nor the seller bears any responsibility for injury to health or property
caused by improper handling of the product.
Troubleshooting
Uneven darkening of the screen
The headband is probably misaligned so that each user's eye is at a different distance from
the filter. Adjust the headband so that both eyes are the same distance from the filter.
The screen does not darken or it flickers
The front protective screen of the filter is dirty or damaged. Replace the screen.
The sensors are dirty. Clean the surface of the sensors.
Welding current too low. Set the sensitivity to a higher value.
Slow reaction
The ambient temperature is too low. Do not use at temperatures below -5°C.
Bad view
The inner or outer screen is dirty or damaged. Clean or replace it.
Insufficient ambient lighting.
The darkening level is set too high. Set a lower level.
Poorly visible welding arc
Increase the filter Delay.
The hood slides off the head
Poorly adjusted headband. Tighten the straps.
