See A on page 2. The figure shows the charge process in a graph with Voltage (V) and Current (I) over time (t).
The charge status is shown in the LCD display.
The charger checks if the battery is correctly connected.
The battery's charge level (V) is measured.
The charger starts charging the battery with constant current up to the defined level in the selected charge mode. The charge voltage is then held constant
at this level and the charging current is reduced until it is below a defined level. The charge voltage then drops to to the defined level in the selected
charge mode, before the long-term charging phase starts. If the measured battery voltage is below 2.0V in 12V or 4V in 24 mode mode, the charger will
enter error mode, and a warning is shown in the dispaly.
The charger analyses the battery again after the charging phase. Post analysis can detect batteries with a short circuit in individual cells. This cannot be
detected in the pre-charging analysis. If the battery voltage drops below 12V or 24V within 2min, the charger will go into error mode and a warning will
be shown in the display. The charging sequence will be stopped.
After the battery is fully charged, the charger can be left connected to the battery for an unlimited time without damaging the battery.
The charging process is designed in such way that the batteries are kept fully charged without causing excessive water consumption.
This charger has a feature called "Expert mode". In this mode a Custom battery type option will be available in the battery type selection. Here the top
charge voltage and the float charge voltage can be set by the user.
To enter Expert mode a PIN have to be entered, The PIN is 3332.
Make sure that the connectors on both the charger and the cables are free from moisture and dirt before using the charger. All batteries should be
inspected monthly as a minimum to ensure maximum safety.
The filter in the air inlet on the bottom side of the charger should be inspected and cleaned on a regular basis. See E, page 3.
The charging cables should be inspected for damage on a regular basis.. If the cables get damaged they can be replaced by removing the cover below
the charge cable. The screw terminals for the charging cable can be found under this cover.
If future needs require a software update of the charger, it can be done through the micro-USB port. See B page 2, number 5.
Necessary information will be given along with the software.
The guarantee applies to faults in production and materials for 2 years from date of purchase. The customer must deliver the product back to the place
of purchase together with the receipt. The guarantee shall cease to apply if the charger is handled negligently, opened or repaired by someone other than
