Product usage
•
When the unit is no longer in use, turn the thermostat knob to 0 to switch it off, then
unplug it from the mains.
NOTE:
•
Never place plates, trays or kitchen foil on the large grill.
•
Always use barbecue utensils with long, heat-resistant handles. Do not leave
utensils on the grill for long periods of time.
•
Always make sure that the food is thoroughly cooked before eating.
•
If it will take you some time to prepare the next batch of food, unplug the unit
until you are ready to use it again, in order to prevent it from overheating.
•
Take special care when cooking food. Oil or grease may splatter when grilling
food. Stand a safe distance away from the unit.
TIPS:
•
Occasionally turn the food to ensure that it cooks evenly.
•
Brush meat and vegetables with oil, grease or a marinade to prevent them from drying
out during the cooking process and sticking to the grill.
•
Preheat the barbecue to help ensure that the food browns quickly whilst being cooked
and stays juicy.
•
Cooking times may vary, depending on the thickness of the food and temperature.
•
When using wooden skewers, always soak them in water for 10 minutes beforehand. This
will prevent the skewers from burning during the cooking process.
•
A marinade helps add flavour and can also make the meat more tender.
•
If you are cooking a large amount of food, cook it in small batches to avoid overloading
the grill.
•
Use the small grill to keep food warm.
