Regulatory instructions
– Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols on the cell, battery
and unit, and make sure that everything has been installed
correctly.
– Do not use cells or batteries that are not designed for use
with the unit.
– Warning! Risk of explosion if the battery is incorrectly
replaced. Only replace it with an identical or equivalent model.
– Always purchase the battery recommended by the unit
manufacturer for the hardware.
– Do not mix different battery brands, capacities, sizes or types
inside the unit.
– Keep the cells and batteries clean and dry.
– Should the cell or battery terminals become dirty, wipe them
with a clean, dry cloth.
– The batteries will need to be charged before use. Always
use the correct charger and refer to the manufacturer's
instructions or unit's manual for the correct charging
instructions.
– Do not leave a battery on charge for an extended period of
time when not in use.
– Batteries should be stored in cool, dry, well-ventilated areas.
– After extended periods of storage, the batteries may need to
be charged and discharged several times to obtain maximum
performance.
– Keep the original product documentation for future reference.
– Only use the cell or battery for its intended application.
– If possible, remove the battery from the unit when not in use
and before disposing of the unit.
– The unit must be disconnected from the mains before
removing the battery.
– Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
They must be taken to a recycling/collection site provided
for this purpose.
