6. Faults / 7. Cleaning, maintenance and recalibration
Fault
Signal span too small
Signal span drops
Warnings and errors
Via the 360° LED status indication, internal instrument warnings (yellow) and errors (red)
are shown, see chapter 5.7 "Colour codes of the 360° LED status indication". An extend-
ed error diagnosis is possible via IO-Link.
If faults cannot be eliminated by means of the measures listed above, shut
down the instrument immediately, and ensure that pressure and/or signal are
no longer present, and secure the instrument from being put back into opera-
tion inadvertently.
In this case, contact the manufacturer.
If a return is needed, please follow the instructions given in chapter
8.2 "Return".
7. Cleaning, maintenance and recalibration
WARNING!
Risk of burns
The instrument may have heated up severely due to hot media.
Wear the requisite protective equipment.
CAUTION!
Unsuitable cleaning agents
Cleaning with unsuitable cleaning agents may damage the diaphragm, the
instrument and the product label.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
Do not use any hard or pointed objects.
Do not use any abrasive cloths or sponges.
7.1 Exterior cleaning of the diaphragm seal system
The exterior should only be cleaned when the instrument is closed and sealed.
Use a cloth moistened with soapy water or isopropanol.
Electrical connections must not come into contact with moisture!
