This manual is an integral part of the product and must be kept for future reference
after installation.
It contains instructions for the correct installation and use of the system.
Follow these instructions carefully to prevent injury to people and damage to
property.
The two-way R. F. transmitter Ref. 5449 have been developed by Mottura for remote control of their
proprietary motorised systems. Therefore, any other use is considered as not conforming to technical
specifications, and in such cases the manufacturer will not be liable for any malfunction, injury to people, or
damage to property.
The Mottura S.p.A. Quality System is certified under UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 by certification authority DNV,
and guarantees the manufacturing process control.
The transmitter Ref. 5449 use the new M2net two-way radio transmission protocol (868 MHz or 915 MHz
depending on the regulating standards in the country of use), developed by Mottura S.p.A. on the basis of many
years of experience gained in the field of Build Automation.
The M2net two-way radio transmission protocol guarantees continuous interaction between the transmitters
and the motorised systems. Compared to one-way radio transmission, through which just a single command can be
given, the M2net two-way radio transmission protocol allows systems to be monitored in real time (confirming
commands received, their execution, signalling any faults, etc.).
Transmitter Ref. 5449 have been designed to reduce energy consumption to the minimum. If the unit is
inactive for a period of 20 seconds it will shut down.
