Safety instructions
• Please read the instructions carefully before using the unit
and keep them for future reference. Should the unit be given
to someone else, please include this user manual too.
• This unit may be used by children aged 8 years and up, persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, and persons
with no experience of using or expertise of the unit, provided they
are properly supervised or receive prior instruction regarding
how to safely use the unit and understand the risks involved.
Children should not play with the unit. Cleaning and maintenance
operations must not be performed by unsupervised children.
• Do not overload the unit. Maximum load: 5 kg.
• Warning! Never immerse the unit's electrical components in
water or any other liquid. Never expose the unit to running water.
• Under no circumstances should the unit's housing be opened.
Do not insert any foreign objects into the unit's housing.
• This product is not a toy. Children must not play with the product.
• Do not place the scales in an environment with strong
electromagnetic interference.
• Handle the scales with care as it is a precision instrument.
• The unit is intended exclusively for household use and may not
be used for commercial purposes.
Battery-related safety instructions
• Batteries should be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly
manner.
• Warning! Using the wrong type of battery may pose a risk of
explosion.
• Only replace the batteries with the same or equivalent models.
• Warning: the batteries or built-in batteries must not be directly
exposed to excessive heat sources, such as sunlight, flames
or similar sources.
