Regulatory instructions
• Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, e.g. direct
sunlight or flames. Do not place the unit on top of a heat source.
Leaking battery acid can cause injury.
• Risk of explosion! The battery must not be recharged, reactivated
in any way whatsoever, disassembled, thrown into a fire or short-
circuited.
• Warning! In the event of a malfunction, due to electrostatic
discharge and irregular electrical overloads, remove and
reinsert the battery.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries should be removed from the unit before
charging them.
• Do not mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries.
• The batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity.
• Used batteries should be removed from the unit and disposed
of safely.
• If the unit is to be stored and not used for a long period of time,
the batteries should be removed.
• The power supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
