4. Initial setup
Continual dry operation of the pump must be
avoided! This can be guaranteed by automatic
switching off of the power supply.
• Time control:
Limit operating time to maximum possible tank
duration:
Operating time = filling amount of the container
in litres divided by pumping amount in litres per
minute
e.g. 1600 l / 80 l/minute = 20 minutes
• Filling level monitoring:
Set minimum filling level to at least 5 cm.
Installation of the immersion pump in the tank or
IBC.
1. Danger of injury or damage if the immersion
pump falls over.
2. Lay the immersion pump on a flat surface and
secure it against rolling away.
3. Have the power supply cable C for the immer-
sion pump connected by a qualified electrician.
4. Connect the delivery hose with the delivery
nozzle to terminal D.

5. Attach the fastening rope (not included) to
handle B.
6. Let the immersion pump into the delivery liquid

through the opening of the tank or IBC using
the fastening rope.
7. Secure the fastening rope.
8. The maximum immersion depth describes the
depth at which the pump can still be installed.
9. The maximum delivery height describes the
height difference between the liquid level
and liquid discharge at the delivery nozzle. In
D
order for the pump to deliver, the max. delivery
height must be adhered to. This must be
observed over the entire duration of pumping,
since when the liquid level drops (due to pump-
ing out), the delivery height increases.
10. Switch on power supply for the immersion
pump.
11. Carry out test filling as described in section 5,
but hold the delivery nozzle into the opening of
the tank or IBC.
12. After completing the test filling, switch off the
power supply for the immersion pump.
13. The immersion pump is now ready for opera-
tion.
5. Use
1. Switch on power supply for the immersion
pump.
2. Take the delivery nozzle out of its holder and
unroll the hose.
3. Put the delivery nozzle completely in the con-
tainer / tank to be filled.
4. Operate delivery nozzle (if necessary, lock
with locking device) and carry out the filling
operation.
5. Close the delivery nozzle and allow it to stop
dripping.
6. Roll up the hose and insert the delivery nozzle
into the holder.
7. Switch off the power supply for the immersion
pump.
