After use
1. Disconnect the device from the socket and the mains adapter.
2. Remove the porcelain cover and the inner cover in an upward direction.
3. Pour any remaining water down the drain.
IMPORTANT
When pouring out the water, en-
sure that the ventilation opening is
located at the top. Ensure that the
ventilation opening does not come
into contact with water.
4. Clean the device as described
under "Cleaning and mainte-
nance".
What to do if the device tips over during use
If the device should tip over during use, then water may enter the ventilation opening.
In the event of this, there is a water drainage hole on the underneath of the device so
that the water can drain out of the ventilation opening. To drain the water from the
water drainage hole, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the mains adapter from the mains socket.
2. Empty the water tank with the ventilation opening at the top so that no water can
enter the ventilation opening.
3. Tip the device in the direction of the water drainage hole so that the water can drain.
