Product usage
Before using the unit
Mains power
Plug the power cable into the mains socket.
The unit will enter standby mode and flash 0:00 until the clock is set.
Backup power
The unit is equipped with a backup power system that uses a 3 V CR2032 lithium battery
(supplied).
In the event of a power cut, the unit automatically switches to battery power and retains the
current time, alarm settings and saved radio stations.
Unplug the power cable from the mains socket before inserting the battery.
To open the battery compartment, use a screwdriver to undo and remove the screw on
the battery compartment cover. Lift off the cover.
Insert the battery in the compartment the correct way around, by observing the polarity
(+ and -) indicated on the unit.
Reposition the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw to secure it in place.
NOTE: For a better performance and longer operating time, we recommend using
a good quality battery.
FM radio antenna
Unwind and extend the antenna for a better FM reception.
Operation
Power on/off
In standby mode, press the
Setting the clock
Press and hold the SET ( ) button to enter the clock setting mode. The time will start
to flash.
Press the
button to select the hour(s).
Press the
button to select the minute(s).
Press and hold
Press the SET ( ) button to confirm the time setting.
Setting the alarm
The unit has two alarms, and each alarm can be set to make a buzzing sound or play the radio.
Make sure the radio is turned off.
Press and hold
