1. Use the hex socket screwdriver supplied to release the clamping screw on the base body.
2. Move the spindle nose over the calibration aid and push the spring pin in a few millimetres.
3. Tighten the clamping screw on the base body.
» The spring pin will hold its position.
4. Set the Z value in the machine controls to zero.
5. Move the spindle nose away from the calibration aid.
6. Insert the 3D edge finder in the spindle and probe the spring pin.
7. Calibrate the 3D edge finder.
6.2. CALIBRATING THE DIAMETER

1. Use the hex socket screwdriver supplied to release the clamping screw on the base body.
» The spring pin will move to the home position.
2. Tighten the clamping screw on the base body.
3. Use the socket supplied to remove the spring pin from the base body.
4. Perform diameter calibration at several points on the setting ring D25 (25 mm).
7. Storage
Before placing in storage, release the clamping screw. Store in the original packaging or box, protected from light, free of
dust in a dry place.
8. Cleaning
Do not use chemical, alcoholic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents. Use a cleaning cloth to clean the calibration aid.
9. Disposal
Comply with the national and regional environmental protection and disposal regulations for correct disposal or recycling.
Segregate items into metals, non-metals, composite materials and consumables and dispose of them responsibly.
