This pressure washer features Grip & Go
TM
Technology
that allows you to start the pressure washer by simply
squeezing the spray gun trigger. When in the Grip &
Go mode, the pressure washer will continue to run for
approximately 15 seconds after the spray gun trigger
is released before shutting down. If you squeeze the
trigger again before the 15 seconds is up, the unit will
continue to run. If the unit shuts down, simply squeeze
the trigger again to restart.
NOTICE
If battery is discharged, use manual starting
instructions.
NOTICE
This unit is equipped with a ReadyStart®
engine. A ReadyStart engine means there is no priming
or choking required.
To Start in Grip & Go Mode
8.
Place rocker switch (A) in GRIP & GO position.
9.
Point spray gun in safe direction, press red button
and squeeze trigger until pressure washer starts.
NOTICE
To prolong the life of starter components,
DO NOT hold trigger for more than 5 seconds, and
pause for at least 30 seconds between starting attempts.
10. Point spray gun towards surface to be cleaned.
To Start in Manual Mode

Place rocker switch (A) in MANUAL position.
9.
Position yourself as recommended
below, grasp
recoil handle and pull slowly until you feel some
resistance. Then pull
to start engine
WARNmNG
Starter cord kickback
(rapid
retraction)
will pull hand and arm toward
engine faster than you can let go which
could cause broken bones, fractures,
bruises,
or sprains
resulting
in serious injury.
o NEVER pull starter cord without first relieving spray gun
pressure.
When starting engine, putt cord slowly until resistance is
felt and then pull rapidly to avoid kickback.
After each starting attempt, where engine fails to run,
always point spray gun in safe direction, press red button
and squeeze spray gun trigger to release high pressure.
Firmly grasp spray gun with both hands when using high
pressure spray to avoid injury when spray gun kicks back.
10. Return recoil starter slowly. DO NOT let rope "snap
back" against starter.
NOTICE
After each starting attempt, where engine
fails to run, always point gun in safe direction, press
red button and squeeze spray gun trigger to release
high pressure.
11. Point spray gun in a safe direction, press red button
to release trigger lock, and squeeze trigger.
NOTIGE
When pressure washer is started in manual
mode, Grip & Go Technology will not work, even if
rocker switch is placed in Grip & Go position after it
was started.
WARNING
The high pressure stream of water that
this equipment
produces could cut through
skin and its underlying tissues, resulting in
serious injury and possible amputation.
Spray gun traps high water
pressure,
even when
engine
is stopped
and water
is disconnected,
which
could result in serious
injury.
DO NOT allow CHILDREN to operate pressure washer.
Keep high pressure hose connected to pump and spray
gun while system is pressurized.
NEVER aim spray gun at people, animals, or plants.
DO NOT secure spray gun in open position.
DO NOT leave spray gun unattended while machine is
running.
NEVER use a spray gun which does not have a trigger
lock or trigger guard in place and in working order.
Always be certain spray gun, nozzles and accessories
are correctly attached.
WARNING
Exhaust
heat/gases
could ignite
combustibles,
structures
or damage
fuel tank causing
a fire, resulting
in
death or serious
injury.
Contact
with muffler
area could cause
burns
resulting
in serious
injury.
DO NOT touch hot parts and AVOID hot exhaust gases.
Allow equipment to cool before touching.
Keep at least 5 feet (1.5 m) of clearance on all sides of
pressure washer including overhead.
It is a violation of California Public Resource Code,
Section 4442, to use or operate the engine on any
forest=covered, brush=covered, or grass=covered land
unless the exhaust system is equipped with a spark
arrester, as defined in Section 4442, maintained
in effective working order. Other states or federal
jurisdictions may have similar taws.
Contact the original equipment manufacturer, retailer, or
dealer to obtain a spark attester designed for the exhaust
system installed on this engine.
Replacement parts must be the same and installed in the
same position as the original parts.
