4. PUMPED LIQUIDS
The product is suitable for clean water, not aggressive and not
explosive liquids, without solid parcels or fiber potentially able
to affect the device mechanically or chemically.
In the presence of aggressive liquids, the product may be
provided, on request, with a flow valve in AISI 306 instead of the
standard flow valve in brass.
When used with hydrocarbons, the product may be provided, on
request, with rubber components in NBR instead of the standard
components in EPDM.
5. CONTROL PANEL
The green light lit up indicates that the
device is energized (fig.1/a).
The yellow light lit up indicates that the
pump is running (fig.1/b).
The red light lit up indicates the
presence of an anomaly (fig.1/c).
Reset button to push in case of
anomaly (fig.1/d).

6. INSTALLATION - PLACEMENT
Install the device to make the inspection, maintenance, and
assistance easier. Install the device in an airy place able to
guarantee pump cooling.
The device may be installed internally or externally as long as it
is protected from direct sunlight, rain, and snow.
7. INSTALLATION - ASSEMBLING
The device may be installed directly on the pump or between
the pump and the first tap (fig.2).
Respect the maximum height indicated between the device and
the highest tap (fig.2/a – fig.3).
Install the device strictly with the flow arrows directed upwards
and in a position that facilitates control panel visibility and
accessibility (fig.2/b).
No tap can be installed between the pump and the device
(fig.2/c).
It is recommended to apply a relief valve and a pressure gauge
at the exit of the device to test the functioning of the pump and
the device by closing the hydraulic system through the valve,
and to verify the pump's effective output with the pressure
gauge.
If the pump is placed above the head, always provide a non-
return valve at the entrance of the suction line.

RESTART
8. INSTALLATION – RESTART VALUE / SYSTEM HEIGHT
The maximum pressure generated by the pump must be at least
1 bar above the restart pressure of the device. In particular, the
pump's effective pressure and the height of the water column
of the system that weighs on the device must be checked in
relation to the start-up pressure of the device itself (fig.3). The
pump stops if the generated pressure fails to reach the values
indicated in the chart. The pump starts without restarting if the height
of the water column exceeds the values indicated in the chart.
The restart pressure value is indicated on the side or the
backside of the device.
9. ELECTRICAL WIRING
fig 2
Electrical shock – Risk of death or serious
personal injuries.
Turn off the power before starting to work on the
device.Check that the power supply cannot be restored
accidentally.
Electrical shock – Risk of death or serious
personal injuries
Connect the wires to the protective conductor of the
earthing system and protect it from indirect contacts in
compliance with relative local regulations.
