STARTING
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may
result in heating of water, personal injury, pump damage, and/
or property damage.
The device can be installed directly on the pump or between
the pump and the first tap with the flow direction arrow facing
upwards. Taps must not be installed between the pump and the
device (See Figure 1).
WARNING If the pressure generated by the pump
exceeds 174 PSI (12 bar), apply a reducer between the pump
and the device.

BUTTON
The green "Power on" LED will light up on the control panel
and the pump will start (yellow "Pump on" LED on) and keep
running for several seconds to start up the system.
If this time is insufficient, the device will stop the pump (red
"Failure" LED blinking).
Keep the "Restart" button pushed in until the red "Failure" LED
turns off and the water comes out of the opened tap.
When the tap is closed, the pump will stop after a few seconds
(yellow "Pump on" LED turns off).
From now on the device will turn the pump on and off
depending on the opening and closing of the tap.
If there is a water shortage the device will stop the pump and
protect against dry running (red "Failure" LED blinking).
Once the cause of the failure has been resolved press the
"Restart" button to restore operation.
check that the pump is correctly primed, open a tap, and
energize.
OPERATION
Check that the technical features of the device, the pump, and
the system are all compliant. The device must be mounted in a
vertical position.
For correct operation, it is necessary for a minimum flow to
pass through the device every time a system tap is opened. For
this reason, the pump and the highest user on the system must
be located beneath the level of the tank (See Figures 2 and 4) or
connected with water mains (See Figures 1 and 3).

1. Install the device in a vertical position on the pump delivery
and connect to the system.
2. Connect the device to the pump motor and the electrical
network following the instructions paragraph "Electrical
Wiring" on the electrical diagram (See Figures 6 through 10).
3. The electrical wiring must be carried out by qualified
personnel and in compliance with current regulations.
4. Open a tap and turn on the power.
5. Pump running: the green "Power on" LED and yellow "Pump
on" LED will be on.
6. Close the tap and wait for the pump to stop.
7. Pump stopped: the green "Power on" LED and yellow "Pump
on" LED will be turned off.
8. It is now possible to use the system normally.
9. The device can also be used in direct withdrawal from the
water mains (See Figure 1).
AUTOMATIC RESET: ONLY FOR "UP" VERSIONS
The "UP" version is different from the standard device due
to the presence of automatic rearms and the anti-jamming
function.
The device automatically starts the pump for about 7 seconds
every 30 minutes for 6 hours. The first start takes place 30
minutes after the last pump stop.
The device also automatically starts the pump for about 7
seconds every 24 hours (antijamming function).
The pump is started 24 hours after the last pump stop.
This model is ideal for direct provisioning from the water mains
in the event of frequent interruptions in the water supply service
(See Figure 1).
MAINTENANCE
The device is maintenance-free. In the case of system
maintenance, review and understand the following safety
warnings and product instructions prior to performing any
service.
HAZARDOUS PRESSURE
In the case of booster application
(See Figures 1 and 3) if the pressure
generated by the mains
water supply, together with the
pump, is too high, install pressure
pressure-reducing valve.

Ground the device before
connecting to the power supply.
Disconnect power before working
on the device, pump, or motor.

Discharge the system before
