Speed display (2) flashes and shows last speed and
memory location.
Select desired memory location for keys «F, 1, 2, 3, 4, or
5» (3).
Speed display (2) is on.
Use the «-/+» keys (4) to set the speed.
This operation can be performed for all memory locations.
To initiate the start, the «run (5) key must be pressed with-
in 30 seconds after selecting the memory location or set-
ting the speed. If the start process is not activated in time,
the display starts flashing and the start can no longer be
executed.
The speed can be changed during operation with the
«-/+» keys (4).

Achine stop
Press the «stop» key (1). Hold the hand piece firmly. The
machine brakes to zero speed. Speed display flashes (2).
Switch off the main switch (3).

On production stop place shaft in the appropriate shaft
receptacle.
On prolonged interruption of work detach shafts
and hand tools and store shaft straight.
When the tool is not being used unplug the power
connector.

Speed rating on the abrasive is equal to or greater
than the speed adjusted on the machine.
Exclusively abrasives from the SUHNER catalog

are to be used.
Threat and store abrasives appropriately.
Damaged abrasives discs may not be used.
Always switch off the machine before changing the tool
or abrasive.

The «step» safety device services for stopping the hand
tool drive.
Mount the «step» safety device on the flexible shaft (1).
Connect the hand piece to the flexible shaft (2).
Remove the retainer (1). Insert the plug into the socket
(various switch elements are possible) and secure with
bracket (2).

Press the main switch (1) of the machine. Pre-select
speed with key «+/-» (2). Start or stop possible via con-
nected switching element.
