5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn off and unplug the device from the power supply before cleaning or repairing it.
Use a soft, dry (or slightly damp) cloth with some neutral cleaning agent to clean the
product's outside and prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt.
If the product is not going to be used for a long time, store it in a safe and well-
ventilated place.
Do not use detergent, scouring pads, chemically-treated cloths, petrol, benzene,
alcohol, thinner, or other solvents, as these can scratch and damage the tank and
cause water leakage.
Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.

If the filter is clogged with dust, the effectiveness of the air conditioning will be
reduced. Make sure to clean the filter once every two weeks.
Cleaning the upper filter frame
Unscrew the screw attached to the filter at the rear with a screwdriver and remove
the filter.
Put the filter screen into warm water with neutral detergent (about 40 ºC / 104 ºC) and
dry it in the shade after rinsing clean. Make sure it is completely dry before reattaching
it.
Replacing batteries
The remote control is powered by two AAA batteries. If the remote control does not
