TROUBLESHOOTING
Check the following points before calling the authorized customer service centre.
Fault
The fan and compressor are
not working.
The device does not
dehumidify at all or not
enough.
The dehumidifier is
excessively noisy.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Bimar
(Italy). The pages must be reproduced and folded in
order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210
mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't
change the page numbering. Keep the language
integrity.
Possible reason
The device is not turned on.
The electrical plug is faulty.
The device is not plugged
into the power outlet.
The full tank light is on.
The water tank is not
inserted correctly, full tank
warning light on full.
The air filter is clogged.
The windows and doors of
the room are open.
The room temperature is too
low.
Not enough time to remove
the moisture.
The inlet or outlet grid is
covered or blocked.
The dehumidifier is not
correctly positioned, it is
tilted and flaky.
The air filter is clogged.

Solution
Turn on the device.
Contact an authorized customer
service centre.
Plug into the power point.
Empty the water tank.
Replace the tank.
Clean the filter as described in
"Cleaning and Maintenance".
Close windows and doors of the
room.
The device is running automatic
defrosting; once finished, the
device will continue to dehumidify.
Increase time.
Make sure that the grids are free.
Place the dehumidifier on a flat,
stable surface.
Clean the filter as described in
"Cleaning and Maintenance".
