10. Move choke lever (B) to "Choke" position.
NOTICE For a warm engine, be sure the choke lever is in the
"Run" position.
NOT/CE Before starting the pressure washer, be sure you
are wearing safety goggles as described below.

marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1 when using or in vicinity of

1. When starting engine, position yourself as
recommended and grasp starter grip handle and pull
slowly until you feel some resistance. Then pull rapidly
to start engine.
A. WARNING Starter cord kickback (rapid retraction) can
result in bodily injury. Kickback will puff hand and

arm toward engine faster than you can let go.
Broken bones, fractures, bruises, or sprains
could result.
• NEVER pull startercordwithoutfirst relievingspraygun
pressure.
• Whenstartingengine,pull cordslowlyuntil resistance isfelt
andthenpull rapidlyto avoidkickback.
• Aftereachstartingattempt,whereengine fails to run,always
pointspraygun in safedirection,pressred buttonandsqueeze
sprayguntriggerto release highpressure.
• Firmlygraspspraygun with both handswhenusinghigh
pressure sprayto avoidinjurywhenspraygun kicks back.
2. Return recoil starter slowly. DO NOT let rope "snap
back" against starter.
13. When engine starts, slowly move choke lever to "Run"
position, as engine warms. If engine falters, move choke
lever to "Choke" position, then to "Run" position.
14. After each starting attempt, where engine fails to run,
always point gun in safe direction, press red button and
squeeze spray gun trigger to releasehigh pressure.
Move choke leverto "Choke" position, and repeat steps
11 through 13.
15. If engine fails to start after six pulls, move choke lever to
"Run" position, and repeatsteps 11 through 13.
NOTICE Always keep the throttle lever in the "Fast" position
when operating the pressure washer.

this equipment produces can cut through skin
and its underlying tissues, leading to serious
