Trolley Base
Assembly instructions and
user manual
Carefully read through the
complete assembly instruc-
tions and user manual, par-
ticularly the safety instructions. Failure to
heed these safety instructions may result
in injury or damage to the trolley base.
Store the assembly instructions and us-
er manual for future reference and al-
ways include them when passing the trol-
ley base on to third parties.
Your safety
Please observe the following
safety instructions. The man-
ufacturer is not liable for dam-
age as the result of failure to comply.
The trolley base is not a children's toy.
Children could crush their fingers or feet.
The trolley base is heavy. Get help of an-
other person when unpacking the trolley
base and mounting the stand tube.
Never leave the trolley base unattend-
ed when in an upright position – if it falls
over, it could result in severe injury.
Only use shades weighing no more than
15 kg in combination with this trolley
base.
Only use middle-pole shades in combi-
nation with this trolley base.
The insertion depth of the pole must at
least amount to 200 mm.
Keep in mind that, depending on wind in-
tensity and diameter of the shade, this
trolley base may also be too "light".
Make sure that the shade is closed in the
event of incoming wind.
Proper use
Depending on the model, the trolley base
is suitable as a stand for sun shades with
a pole diameter of no more than 60 mm.
The trolley base is intended for domes-
tic use only. It is not suitable for commer-
cial use.
Before you use the trolley base, please
first carefully read through the safety in-
structions. Only in this way, will you be
able to use the trolley base in a safe and
reliable manner.
It is imperative that you observe the na-
tional regulations in force in your country
which also apply in addition to the regu-
lations in this manual.
Preparing the trolley base
for assembly
Please note!
– The trolley base is heavy. Get help of
another person when unpacking the
trolley base.
1. Lift the trolley base out of the pack-
aging using the opposing recessed
grips 1 and lay it down on a free sur-
face with the bottom facing up (see
figure A).
2. Turn the lid closure 2 anticlockwise
one quarter revolution and pull it out
(see figure B).
3. Pull the lid 3 of the storage compart-
ment 4 out (see figure C).
4. Remove the accessories from the
storage compartment 4 (see figure D).
