Keep the product away from moisture, heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high,

and heat sources such as ovens.
Do not cover the product when it is on or shortly after it is turned off. Never place objects on

or against the product. Doing so may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or
damage to the product.
Do not attach objects to the product.

2.4 Electronics
Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.

Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating
•
plate matches that of your mains supply.
Make sure that you do not trip over the cable(s) and that the cable(s) are not kinked,
•
twisted, or stuck.
Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the
•
product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service
personnel. Always send the product to a service center for repairs to prevent damage and
personal injury.
Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is
•
any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by
authorized service personnel.
If the power fails during use, immediately turn off the product and unplug the power cord.

Do not pull on the cord to unplug the product.
•
Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
•
Be careful not to trip over the cable and make sure the cable is not kinked, twisted, or stuck.

Do not place the cable on hot surfaces or near oil. Do not leave the cable hanging over the

edge of a table or countertop.
Unplug and turn off the product when not in use and before cleaning the product.

Do not move the product when it is on. Always turn the product off before moving or

cleaning it.
2.5 Batteries
Leaking batteries/batteries may damage the product. Remove the batteries/batteries when
•
not using the product for an extended period of time.
Improper use of the batteries/batteries may cause explosion and leakage of battery fluid.

Do not attempt to short the terminals or batteries/batteries.
•
Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries/batteries. Rechargeable batteries/
•
batteries must be removed from the product before charging.
Recycle batteries/batteries if necessary. Return batteries/batteries to a government-
•
approved collection point for recycling.
Do not expose batteries/batteries to high temperatures or excessive heat.
