Do not unplug the product by pulling the power cord. This may cause fire or electric
shock.
•
If black smoke comes out of the product, unplug the product immediately. Wait until the
smoke is gone before removing the contents of the product and contact our customer
service department.
•
Do not leave the cable(s) hanging over the edge of a table or countertop.
•
Do not place the cable(s) on hot surfaces or near oil.
•
Do not tuck the cable(s) under rugs or blankets. Never lay the cable(s) in a walkway.
•
Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
•
Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating
plate matches that of your mains supply.
•
Make sure you do not trip over the cord(s) and that the cord(s) are not kinked, twisted, or
stuck.
2.5 Batteries
•
Batteries must be inserted according to the correct polarity as indicated on the product.
•
Batteries are a choking hazard, keep them away from children and pets.
•
Battery life is approximately one year. Replace batteries on time.
•
Do not dispose of batteries with household waste. Batteries contain chemicals that are
harmful to the environment.
•
Do not throw batteries into fire. Do not attempt to crush, puncture or otherwise
disassemble batteries for any reason.
•
Leaking batteries may damage the product. Remove the batteries if you will not be using
the device for an extended period of time.
•
If batteries leak, avoid contact with skin, eyes, open skin or wounds. Wear gloves. In case
of accidental exposure to battery fluid, flush affected areas with plenty of clean water
and seek medical attention immediately. Remove dead batteries from the product
immediately as there is an increased risk of acid leakage.
•
Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries should be
removed from the product before charging.
•
Recycle batteries if necessary. Return batteries to a government approved collection
point for recycling.
•
Do not expose batteries to high temperatures or excessive heat.
