WORK AREA SAFETY
Do not operate the electric tool in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres, because sparks may be
generated, which can ignite the dust, fumes or gases.
Beware of the danger of tripping over the power supply cord of the electric tool.
While using the electric tool for jobs performed high from the ground, take all necessary precautions, to eliminate or
minimize risk to other workers, following the accidental falling of any equipment (for example, isolation of the work area
and placement of proper signs).
Avoid contact with live equipment: the electric tool is not insulated, and contact with live parts can cause electric shocks.
Keep children and bystanders away from your workplace while operating the electric tool. Distractions from other people
can cause you to lose control over the tool.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- The power tool must be connected to a system fitted with such electrical safety devices as required under current regulations.
- The plugs of the power tool must match the socket. Do not modify the plug in any way
- Do not use any adapters with electrical plugs.
- Do not expose any power tools to rain or humidity.
- Do not use the power cord to carry, pull or disconnect the power tool.
- Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or twisted power cables result in an increased
risk of electric shocks
- When operating an electric tool outdoors, use an extension suitable for outdoor use.
PERSONNEL SAFETY
- Stay alert; watch what you are doing. Do not use the electric tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
- Always use personal protective equipment.
- Check that the switch is in the OFF position before connecting it to the power source.
- Do not keep your finger on the switch when carrying the tool
- Keep proper balance at all times. This will enable better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery,
and long hair can get caught in moving parts
- Do not modify the tool. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase operator risk.
- Have the tool repaired through trained staff and only using original replacement parts.
