Unpacking and checking the delivery
Check the device and scope of delivery
NOTE!
If opening the packaging with a sharp knife or other pointed
objects, careless handling can damage the device.
- Therefore, be very careful when opening.
1. With both hands, lift the device out of the packaging.
2. Check that the delivery is complete (see chapter "Scope of delivery / unit parts").
3. Inspect the device and individual parts for damage. Do not operate a damaged
device; instead, contact the manufacturer via the service centre listed on the
warranty card.
Cleaning the device and accessories
1. Remove the packaging and all protective film.
2. Clean the device and accessories before using them for the first time (see
"Cleaning").

CAUTION!
Physical hazard if device parts are still moving.
- Never stop or brake rotating device parts by hand or by using
objects.
Setting up the drive unit
1. Place the drive unit 4 on a flat, smooth, clean and stable surface.
2. Press the drive unit 4 firmly onto the surface.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed socket.
Prepare smoothies
The appliance has a built-in safety lock. This ensures that you can only switch on the
appliance when the blender jug 1 and the blade unit 3 are securely mounted on the
