when the camera is not recording and is connected to the power supply. The
recordings are not protected against being overwritten.
6. Audio recording - turns audio recording on/off.
7. Date stamp - enables/disables the display of the date on the recording or
photo.
8. Gravity sensor (G - Sensor) - when the sensor is activated at the moment
of a collision, the recording file is protected from being overwritten. It is
recommended to set the lowest available value, as at a higher value the
camera may pick up bumps caused by unevenness of the road, which can
cause the memory card to fill up.
9. Car number - allows you to enable/disable the display of the number plate
on recordings.
06. PRECAUTIONS
1. Do not disassemble or tamper with the camera yourself. In the event of a
malfunction, contact the service department.
2. Use only original accessories.
3. Only use the original charger supplied. The use of any other power supply
may adversely affect battery performance.
4. The device may not be used in contravention of the laws of your country
or region.
5. Permissible operating temperatures for the unit are 0 °C - 35 °C, storage: 5
°C - 45 °C.
6. Do not subject the device to damage or impacts.
7. Take care of the cleanliness of the product and especially the lens. Do not
use detergents or chemicals when cleaning.
8. Clean only when the unit is unplugged.
9. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
10. Do not expose the device to very high temperatures or fire.
07. FAQ
1. The device does not switch on, screen flashes
Charge the device's battery and check the cigarette lighter socket connection
before starting.
2. The device does not switch on/off automatically
The reason for this behaviour may be the constant power supply from the car's
cigarette lighter socket.
3. The camera stops recording / does not overwrite recordings
Check: G-SENSOR - a function that protects recordings with recorded stress (e.g.
uneven road surface, braking, driving off a kerb or over a speed bump, etc.)
from being overwritten. If you use this function, you must regularly format the
14
memory card on your computer and then on the camera. Finally, each file on
the disc is protected from overwriting and the device cannot record another
track - no looping. We recommend that you set the sensor according to your
driving style and road conditions. You can also disable the option completely, in
which case the oldest file is overwritten and the card does not require regular
formatting. Once you have set the function, remember to format the memory
card.
4. The camera turns on and off
Check: PARKING MODE/MONITOR and MOVEMENT DETECTION - function de-
signed to operate when the vehicle is parked. It is advisable to deactivate these
functions before setting off, as they may cause the camera to switch on and off,
resulting in random fragments of the route being recorded. If the functions are
disabled, check that the error occurs without a memory card inserted.
5. The camera records fragments of the route / randomly lasting recordings
Check: MOVEMENT DETECTION - function designed to work when the car is
parked. It is necessary to deactivate this function before setting off, as it may
cause the camera to switch on and off, recording random fragments of the
route. If the function is disabled, check that the error occurs without a memory
card inserted.
6. The device shows the message "card full" or does not read the card
Check the "G-sensor" and "parking mode" functions and set them to minimum.
The card must be formatted in the computer using the FAT32 or exFAT file
system (depending on the card) and then in the recorder.
Also ensure that the selected card capacity and specification (micro SD, class
10 - U1, V10 also recommended) is suitable for your device (we recommend
using cards from reputable manufacturers, we recommend Kingston, Samsung,
Sandisk). In the event of an error, replace the card with a new one from an
official distributor.
7. The device records noisy, distorted, unclear sound
The device has a very sensitive microphone that picks up all ambient noise.
Recorded sounds may overlap. Windscreen vents can also distort the sound.
8. The device does not respond
Shortly press the Reset button or reset the camera to factory settings.
9. Transverse stripes appear on the recording
Wrong setting of the frame rate value. Set the frequency value to "50Hz" or
"60Hz" according to the local settings.
10. Bracket detaches from glass/does not stick to glass
Before mounting the holder on the glass, degrease the surfaces well. Remember
to avoid high temperatures, which can cause deformation of the holder and
damage to the recorder itself.
