Keypad function
1.
Open the battery compartment and insert an AAA battery, as shown in the
battery compartment, and close it.
2. Insert the USB dongle in a free USB Type-A female of your computer.
3. Now the USB dongle automatically connects to the numeric keypad.

A "K" appears on the display of the numeric keypad. Press the "Num/
Rechner" key once. "Num" appears at the top left of the of the display.

The product is now in numeric keypad function.
6. During transport, the USB dongle can be secured in the slot on the underside
of the numeric keypad.
7. All typed digits and characters are displayed on both the numeric keypad
and the numeric keypad's display, as well as on the computer screen.

The "=" key is not available in numeric keypad mode; it functions as the
"ENTER" key.
Calculator
Note: The calculator function can be used independently of the computer. A
connection via the USB dongle is not necessary. You can switch the numeric
keypad to the calculator function while the computer is in operation or simply use
it as a calculator without connecting it to the computer.
1. To activate the calculator function, press and hold the "Num/Rechner" button
for 3 seconds. An "F" appears at the top left of the display.

You can now use the device as a calculator.

The numbers and figures you type in are only shown on the numeric keypad
display, similar to a calculator. If the numeric keypad is connected to your
computer during the calculator function, the typed numbers and characters
will not be displayed on the computer screen.

To activate the number pad function again, press and hold the "Num/
Rechner" key for 3 seconds. A "K" appears at the top left of the display.
