suitable cot, crib or bed.

Maintenance, repair and lifetime:
• The articles are NOT suitable for outdoor use.
• Avoid the effects of moisture on your articles! Should the textiles become moist, you should hang them up and dry them
immediately. NEVER store the textiles in a wet, folded condition! The fabric could get mould stains. This would weaken
the stability of the textile structure.
• Make sure that the textiles are not exposed unnecessarily to UV radiation. This could bleach the colouration and thus
weaken the stability of the fabric.
• Dirt must only be removed from the textiles by a wet cloth and mild detergent. Machine wash is only allowed if it is
stated on the label. Dry cleaning, dyeing, bleaching or impregnation of the fabric leads to weakening of the stability of the
fabric and must not be carried out.
• To wash the product, untie the knots at the ends of the suspension cords and remove the wooden rods. The hammock
can be washed in the washing machine at a temperature of 30° C. When reassembling after washing, please take care to
arrange the cables correctly (see separate diagrams).
WARNING! Safety notes:
!
• Dispose of packaging foil immediately after unpacking the article and ensure that it is kept out of the reach of
children. There is acute danger of choking if a child pulls plastic foil over its head or swallows small pieces of foil!
• Do not alter the construction of the article.
• WARNING! Do not use this baby hammock once your child is able to sit unaided.
• Do not use for children who are too heavy or too big for the hammock!
• WARNING! Never leave the child unattended!
• It is dangerous to leave your child in the hammock in the care of another child!
• WARNING! Always use the retention system.
• WARNING! The baby hammock is not a swing!
• The lying or sitting height should not be above 400 mm!
• The seat and the stand MUST ALWAYS be connected by the swing limiter included in delivery. Otherwise there is the
risk of tipping!
• Each time you use the article, please check the fabric, the suspension loops and all knots, pushfit connections, chain
and screw connections of the frame and suspension system to make sure there is no damage and that everything fits
together securely.
• If you ascertain damage to the article, it must not be used until it has been correctly repaired by specialised staff using
original AMAZONAS parts.
• Only use accessories approved by the manufacturer and the correct replacement parts.
• Let a second person help you placing the baby in the hanging chair/hammock. Only if you are absolutely sure that you
can do this alone, you should lay your baby into the hanging chair without the help of a second person!
• Do not lay your child on its tummy in the hammock!
• Always use the sewed-in safety pants to secure your child!
• Never place more than one child in the baby hammock!
• Pets, especially cats, dogs and large birds, have to be kept away from the hammock during use. The movement of the
hammock may attract pets and entice them to play, which might cause the hammock to get out of balance or cause
injury to the child.
• Please take care to dress your child adequately for the ambient temperature. A hammock does not warm the child! If you
want to protect your child against cold rising from below, we recommend our matching Sunny lined inlay!
• Make sure that the baby can breathe freely.
• WARNING! It is dangerous to put this item on a raised surface (e.g. table).
• Only set up on a level surface, and not in the vicinity of stairs.
• Do not move the baby hammock with the child lying in it, neither by carrying it nor by sliding it over the floor using
coasters or cart.
• Please use the baby hammock only in combination with stands/Door Clamp from AMAZONAS!
• The articles are made of high-quality material and thus ensure a long lifetime. However, the lifetime depends on the
frequency of use, cleaning, UV radiation and other factors. Therefore, you should always check the fabric and the seams
before every use. Should you notice any damage or weakening of the fabric, you must not use the article
anymore.
• Never bleach or dye the textiles.
• Never exceed the given maximum load of the article. This can damage the fabric and the load-bearing elements so badly
that the stability of the article is weakened. Risk of injury!
• In order to minimise the risk of sudden infant death, it is recommended that healthy babies lie on their back when
sleeping unless your doctor has given you different advice.
• Please ensure that all people who wish to use the article are aware of the instructions for use and the safety notes
mentioned above.
