IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using and keep for future reference.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated
on the rating label.
3. Place the device on a flat, dry surface or mount it on the wall.
4. Keep the appliance at least 1 m away from other electronic devices,
like for example radio.
5. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not
immerse cord, plug or unit in water or other liquid.
6. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
7. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously
supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed
in its intended normal operating position and they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and
less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or
perform user maintenance.
8. Infants, the disabled and the elderly should not be in the direct airflow
from the fan for long periods of time.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
10. If the supply cord is
