10 ADJUSTING THE TRIMMER SETTINGS
10.1
Height adjustment (Fig. A & D)

To adjust the height, simply rotate and loosen the collar extension lock knob (5 and to
extend or retract the extension tube (6).
▪
Tighten the extension lock knob (5) to lock the tube on the selected position.
10.2
Setting the auxiliary handle (Fig. A & E)
▪
Take out the auxiliary handle (3) from the box.
▪
Loosen the knob (4) and take out the long screw.
▪
Fit the handle (3) over the mounting hole and replace the knob (4).
▪
Set the handle (3) at the desired angle and refasten the knob (4).
10.3
Adjustment the cutting angle (Fig. F)
▪
Your Trimmers has a 5-positions cutting head. This setting allows you to work effectively
at a comfortable working angle. It can cut accurately around the flower beds, under
bushes, around trees and fence posts etc.
▪
To change the angle, simply press the head angle button (7) of the cutting head, rotate to
the desired position, then release the button.
10.4
Setting up the cutting head for lawn edging (Fig. A & I)

To use the trimmer in edging mode, press the vertical lock button (13) and swivel the
cutting head (8) fully to the left until the button snaps in place. (the cutting head does not
swivel to the right)

Next the cutting head needs to be set in the vertical position using the head angle button
(7). (see paragraph 10.3)
10.5
Setting up the flower protection (Fig. A & J)

When trimming grass close to solid objects (e.g. wooden fence, stone edge etc.) , the
flower protection (14) prevents contact damage with these objects and the cutter blades
(9).
▪
Simply flip the flower protection (14) forward until it snaps in place.
Warning: remove the battery pack from the trimmers before handling setting.
Warning: Always wear safety glasses. Never lean over the cutting head.
Stones or debris can bounce or be thrown into eyes and face and blind you
or serious injury. To use the machine, note the following points: Put on heavy
clothing and eye protection. Hold the front handle with one hand and the
auxiliary handle with the other hand. Store unit below the waist level. Have
the unit from right to the left so that residues are always projected on the
side opposite you. While avoiding bending over, keep the section parallel to
the ground wire (or perpendicular to trim edges) and prepared the material
to be cut (but not touching).
Warning: Before starting work, make sure that the cutting blades are long
enough. Do not start work before the engine running at full speed.
11 OPERATION
Your grass trimmer will work at its best if you observe the following instructions:

Never use the grass trimmer without its safety devices.
▪
Do not cut grass when it is wet. The best results are had on dry grass.
