Troubleshooting
Ensure the device inlet is not contaminated with sample liquid.
•
Otherwise clean it with a damp cloth, let it dry and try again.
Ensure there is no sample liquid on the windings or the rim of
•
the sample vials.
Ensure the device, vials, pipettes and your sample liquid are all
•
at ambient temperature.
Ensure you prepare the sample vial with exactly 2 mL of sample
•
liquid.
Perform a new calibration.
•
Try to clean the sensor (Settings → Advanced → Clean sensor).
•
Contact the Alivion technical support if the problem persists
•
Contamination warning does not go away
Make sure the device is operated in a room with clean air.
•
Ventilate the room. If necessary, remove any potential
•
contamination sources (e.g., open sample liquid, used sample
vials and pipettes).
Remove the O-ring from the device. Clean it and the sample vial
•
inlet with a damp cloth. Dry both and put the sealing O-ring
back in.
Try to clean the sensor (Settings → Advanced → Clean sensor).
•
Try using it repeatedly if necessary.
Contact the Alivion technical support if the problem persists.
