BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Remove all packing material and stickers from the product and save instruction manual.
•
Cut and remove tie wrap located between the electric plug blades.
•
Before using your new appliance, wipe the body of the coffeemaker with a damp cloth.
•
The removable filter basket and carafe are all top rack dishwasher safe, or they may be hand
washed in warm sudsy water.
•
Place appliance on a flat stable surface.
Caution: Because some countertop finishes are more sensitive than others, use care not to place cof-
feemaker on surfaces where heat may cause damage.
•
Pour fresh cold water into the water reservoir up to 12 cup mark.
•
Place reusable filter or empty paper filter into removable filter basket.
•
Place the filter basket into the coffeemaker.
•
Close the coffeemaker lid.
•
Place empty carafe on warming plate directly under the brew basket opening.
•
Plug into a standard 120 Volt AC outlet.
•
Press the ON/OFF button to brew the water through appliance without adding coffee grounds.
This removes any dust or residue that may remain in the system during the
