Electrical Connection
The equipment has a single electrical port, item 1 in
Figure A4. This is for connecting to DPI705E or
DPI705E-IS via the supplied 2.9 metre (9.5 feet) cable. For
the entity parameters, refer to Table A3.
Specific Conditions of Use
1. The remote sensor PM700E-IS shall only be connected
to suitably certified Druck digital handheld equipment
via cable provided by the equipment manufacturer.
2. CAUTION: The metal body of the remote sensor
PM700E-IS is connected directly to the circuit earth of
the handheld pressure indicator. The equipment is
battery powered only and not intended to be connected
to any external electrical connection.

Return Goods/Material Procedure
If the unit requires calibration or is unserviceable, return it
to the nearest Druck Service Centre listed at:
https://druck.com/service.
Druck is an active participant in the UK and EU Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) take-back
initiative (UK SI 2013/3113, EU directive 2012/19/EU).
The equipment that you bought has required the
extraction and use of natural resources for its production.
It may contain hazardous substances that could impact
health and the environment.
In order to avoid the dissemination of those substances
in our environment and to diminish the pressure on the
natural resources, we encourage you to use the
appropriate take-back systems. Those systems will
reuse or recycle most of the materials of your end life
equipment in a sound way. The crossed-out wheeled bin
symbol invites you to use those systems.
If you need more information on the collection, reuse,
and recycling systems, please contact your local or
regional waste administration.
Please visit the link below for take-back instructions and
more information about this initiative.

Contact the Service Department to obtain a Return
Goods/Material Authorization (RGA or RMA). Provide the
following information for a RGA or RMA:
•
Product (e.g. PM700E-IS)
•
Serial number.
•
Details of defect/work to be undertaken.
•

•
Operating conditions.
Operation
Connect the PM700E / PM700E-IS pressure sensor to the
accessory/remote port of the DPI705E or DPI705E-IS test
instrument using the supplied 2.9 metre (9.5 ft) cable. On
connection the test instrument will briefly display the
sensor's full scale pressure range.
The DPI705E / DPI705E-IS will automatically switch from
displaying readings from the internal pressure sensor to the
remote pressure sensor when a remote sensor is plugged
in.
