Operating the appliance
1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the power
supply before assembly.
2. Connect the blending shaft to the main unit.
3. Check that the ON/OFF button is in the released (flat) po-
sition.
4. Connect the appliance to the power supply.
5. Then, press the ON/OFF button. The appliance will turn on.
BE CAREFUL!
6. To turn off the appliance, release the ON/OFF button.
CAUTION: Before connecting the appliance to the power supply,
check that the power supply voltage corresponds with the pow-
er supply details shown on the rating label.
REMARK: There is no lock function for continuous operation.
Starting and stopping the appliance
1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the power
supply before assembled.
2. Connect the blending shaft to the main unit.
3. Check that the ON/OFF button is in the released (flat) po-
sition.
4. Connect the appliance to the power supply.
5. Press and hold the Safety button first.
6. Then, press the ON/OFF button at the same time. The appli-
ance will start up. BE CAREFUL!
7. Release the Safety button, the appliance will keep operating.
8. To stop the appliance, release the ON/OFF button.
Continuous operating the appliance
Follow steps 1 to 7 above, then:
• With the ON/OFF button in "pressed" position, press Locking
button once.
• Release the ON/OFF button and the appliance will keep oper-
ating in a continuous mode.
• To turn off the appliance, press and release the ON/OFF button.
Variable speed operation
Follow steps 1 to 7 above, then:
• Change the speed of the motor by turning the variable speed
button towards the maximum or minimum as required. It is
advisable to start the device at a low speed when using the
whisk. With the self-regulating speed system, the selected
speed will remain constant even if the consistency of your
mixture changes.
REMARK:
Blender function: For better control, we recom- mend you hold
the bender by the handle and the bottom of the motor unit. Fur-
thermore, we recommend you tilt the bender slightly to prevent
the bell from touching the bottom of the container. Always make
sure that the bell is sufficiently immersed to avoid splashing and
that the air vents of the motor unit do not come into contact with
any liquid. For optimum efficiency, two-thirds of the blending
arm should be immersed in the mixture being prepared.

Assembling / Disassembly of the attachments
The assembly / disassembly operations of the appliance are
performed with the appliance stopped and disconnected from
the power supply.
Assembly
1. Align and insert the coupling of the blending shaft or the
whisk in the clutch of the main unit. Make sure the narrow-
er part of the appliance coupling fits the concave side of the
blender shaft or whisk arm coupling.
2. Screw the nut up to fasten it firmly to the main unit.
Follow the above steps in the reverse order to disassembly the
accessories.
Cleaning & maintenance
• ATTENTION! Always disconnect the appliance from the pow-
er supply and cool down before storage, cleaning & mainte-
nance.
• Do not use water jet or steam cleaner for cleaning and do not
push the appliance under the water as the parts will get wet
and electric shock might be resulted.
• If the appliance is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, this
can adversely affect the life of the appliance and result in a
dangerous situation.
• Food residues should be regularly cleaned and removed from
the appliance. If the appliance is not cleaned properly, it will
reduce its lifespan and may result in a dangerous condition
during use.
Cleaning
• Clean the cooled exterior surface with a cloth or sponge
slightly dampened with a mild soap solution.
• For reasons of hygiene, the appliance should be cleaned be-
fore and after use.
• Avoid water contacting the electrical components.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents, abrasive sponges, or
cleaning agents containing chlorine. Do not use steel wool,
metallic utensils, or any sharp or pointed objects for cleaning.
Do not use petrol or solvents!
• No parts are dishwasher safe.
Maintenance
• Check the operation of the appliance regularly to prevent se-
rious accidents.
• If you see that the appliance is not working properly or that there
is a problem, stop using it, switch it off and contact the supplier.
• All maintenance, installation and repair work must be car-
ried out by specialised and authorised technicians, or recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
