4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Adjustment should only be performed when there is evidence of significant
deviations that are above the accuracy of the instrument.
Fit patterns:
To perform the chlorine and/or pH adjustment the appropriate reagents will be
needed for each parameter to be adjusted and stable standards with reliable values,
in order to guarantee the best accuracy in the readings. Adjustments to unreliable
standards are the sole responsibility of the user.
To accomplish the measurement adjustment:
1) Turn on the instrument, press briefly the On-Off button;
2) With the support of the buttons ▲ / ▼, browse to the settings option and press
briefly the

4) With the support of the buttons ▲ / ▼, browse to the parameter option according
to your preference (Chlorine or pH) and press the

6) Separate a cuvette with standard solution 0 (ultrapure, distilled or deionized
water – without adding reagents);
7) Gently shake the standard solution to homogenize it;
8) Handling the cuvette by the lid, dry it and clean it of any humidity, dirt or grease,
using the cleaning wipe that comes with the instrument;
9) Holding the cuvette by the lid carefully insert it in the measurement compartment,
aligning the cuvette body indication with the instrument alignment mark.
10) Carefully close Cloro-pH Max's measurement lid;
11) To start the adjustment and reading, press
start the standart analysis procedure;
12) After analyzing the 0 standard, the instrument will display the next setpoint.
13) To adjust in the next points, separate a cuvette with a standard solution
corresponding to the value indicated in the instrument's display. Insert in the
standard solution the appropriate reagent for the parameter being adjusted into
the standard solution and repeat steps 7 and 11;
14) At the end of the adjustment, will appear on the screen the message
Adjustment finished.
NOTE: To restore the factory default values, access Adjust and select the
Factory standard option.
