Step 1. Inspection.
Remove the VP from its package and inspect
it for damage that may have occurred during
shipping. If any damage is discovered,
re-pack the unit and return it to the place
of purchase.
Step 2. Wiring
2.1- Find the breaker that controls the circuit
you will wire the voltage protector to and turn
it off before you continue with the installation.
2.2 – Remove the cover of the terminal block.
Loosen the clamps of each connection.
2.3-Connect the power leads coming from the
equipment to be protected by the VP to the
corresponding output terminals in the terminal
block (see illustration 1).
2.4-Connect the power leads coming from the
power outlet to the corresponding input termi-
nals in the terminals block (see illustration 1).

Note: Feed equipment wiring allowing enough wire
length to reach the terminal block screws on the VP.
Cut the wires to length, strip the appropriate amount
of insulation, and then crimp the ends on the corre-
sponding terminals. DO NOT LEAVE ANY SERVICE
LOOPS OR SLACK INSIDE OF THE ENCLOSURES.
To secure each connection, clamp down the stripped
ends of the wires by screwing the clamps tight with a
driver..
