AFTER USE & CARE
DO NOT leave on combustible surfaces overnight after use even
17.
if you believe it has cooled off.
After a period of non-use, check your Smokeless Fire Pit for
18.
signs of damage and creosote build-up. DO NOT operate until
the necessary repairs and/or clean-up is done.
DO NOT use water to extinguish the fire as this could cause
19.
damage to the Smokeless Fire Pit as well as injury to the user.
Dispose of ashes properly, in an ash-safe metal bin. Ashes
20.
can maintain heat and combustion can occur even after
several hours.
Serious injury, death and/or property damage may occur if the
21.
above instructions are not followed exactly. User assumes all
responsibility for safety.
DEEP CLEANING
CREOSOTE – FORMATION AND NEED FOR REMOVAL.
When wood is burned slowly, tar and other organic vapors that
combine with expelled moisture to form creosote. When ignited, this
creosote makes an extremely hot fire.
Untwist the thumbscrews to remove the double wall body.
01
Spray degreaser on the grate and ash pan. Use a non-abrasive
02
scrubber to clean them.
Wipe down with strong paper towel.
03
ASH DISPOSAL
Ashes should be placed in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid.
The closed container of ashes should be placed on a non-combus-
tible floor or on the ground, well away from all combustible materials,
pending final disposal. When the ashes are disposed by burial in soil
or otherwise locally dispersed, they should be retained in the closed
container until all cinders have thoroughly cooled.
