5.7. TRANSPORT AND TRAVEL
• Before transportation, always ensure
the LiTRIC® System is switched OFF
(see point 4.2) and secure the LiTRIC®
avalanche airbag from accidental trig-
gering (see also point 4.4.1).
• Traveling with the LiTRIC® avalanche
airbag does not require special trans-
port documents.
• Because the LiTRIC® System is battery
powered, always follow warning guide-
lines (see point 1) before transport or
travel.
• It is also advisable to familiarize your-
self with local public transport require-
ments prior to travel.
• Air travel and aircraft carriage:
• The LiTRIC® avalanche airbag is consid-
ered a piece of Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) and not luggage.
• Classified as an electronic device pow-
ered by fixed lithium-ion battery:
• Lithium-ion battery nominal capacity:
3.7V / 2000mAh / 7.4Wh
• Capacitor storage capacity: < 0,3Wh
