completely remove all packaging parts from the
appliance.
Choking hazard warning!
Keep packaging parts out of the reach of children and
dispose of them as soon as possible.
Please note
Please have visible damage to the outer packaging
confirmed by the parcel service driver immediately upon
delivery. If transport damage is only noticed during
unpacking, the parcel service must be notified in writing
within 24 hours of delivery in order to hold them liable
for the damage.
Installation & operation
The appliance is designed for use on a free-standing
stove with a surface temperature of 60 - 350 °C. If the
operating temperature of 350 °C is exceeded, the fan
must be removed. It is therefore very important to
constantly monitor the temperature of the stove to
ensure operation within the operating temperature
and to protect the appliance from damage. Use the
thermometer included in the scope of delivery for this
purpose.
A safety device for the motor is located on the
underside of the base. This heat-sensitive metal
strip raises the appliance if it gets too hot, allowing
the temperature of the fan to be lowered. Once the
temperature is back within limits, the metal strip
automatically returns to its original position and the
appliance lowers again and can resume operation.
Position the fan on top of the oven. Operation starts
automatically from around 60 °C.
The optimum operating temperature is 80 - 250 °C.
To optimise the function and effectiveness of the fan,
please note the following when installing: (see Fig. 1)
- The top of the stove must be level
- Do not place in front of the stove pipe
- It can be placed on both sides of the stove pipe, even
at an angle to the stove front
