[DRC Off]: DRC is switched off. Broadcast DRC will be
ignored. This is the default setting.
[DRC Low]: DRC level is set to 1 / 2 that sent by
broadcaster.
[DRC High]: DRC is set as sent by broadcaster.
NOTE: Not all DAB broadcasts are able to use the
DRC function. If the broadcast does not support DRC,
then the DRC setting in the radio will have no effect.
● [Station Order]: Select this option and subsequently
select [Alphanumeric] to sort the station list
alphanumerically or select [Ensemble] to sort the
station list by DAB multiplex.
● [Prune]: Select this option to delete all unavailable

stations from the station list.
● [My EQ]: Select this option to set the treble / bass level
and enable ("On") or disable ("Off") the radio's loudness

Showing DAB information on the display

When listening to a DAB radio broadcast, repeatedly
press the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following
information on the radio's display:

● Scrolling text (DLS)
● DL Plus text (Some stations may provide other
programme related information for the display in

addition to the regular text. If none is available, a
message "no info" is displayed.)
● Program type
SV
● Multiplex name
● Time & date
DAN
● Channel & frequency
● Bit rate / audio type

● Signal strength
Listening to FM radio

Tuning into FM stations
To tune into FM radio stations, follow these steps:
1.
Be sure to screw in the antenna properly to get best
reception. Turn on the radio using the Power button.
2.
Select the FM radio mode by repeatedly pressing the
Source button.
3.
Rotate the Tuning knob clockwise or anti-clockwise
and then press the Tuning knob to automatically tune
into an FM station with a higher or lower frequency
respectively. Your radio will stop scanning when it finds
a station of sufficient strength. The display will show
the frequency of the signal found. If the signal is strong
enough and there is RDS data present then the radio
will display the station name.
4.
Rotate the Tuning knob to fine-tune the frequency with
steps of 0.05MHz if needed.
5.
Repeat the steps 3 and 4 to tune into other radio stations.

6.
Use the Volume knob to set the sound level as needed.
The FM radio menu
You can open the FM radio menu by pressing and holding
the Info / Menu button while the radio is in the FM radio
mode.
Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and
then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice.
The radio's default and recommended settings are
indicated using an asterisk.
The FM radio menu offers the following options:
● [FM Scan Zone]: Select this option to configure if the
radio should only look for strong signals ("Local") or
all signals ("Distant") when using the automatic tuning
feature.
● [My EQ]: Select this option to set the treble / bass level
and enable ("On") or disable ("Off") the radio's loudness
(refer to the chapter "Set up my EQ profile" for details).
● [System Setting]: Select this option to go to the
System setting menu and configure the radio (refer
to the chapter "Using the System setting menu" for
details).
Showing FM information on the display
When listening to an FM radio station that is also
broadcasting RDS data, repeatedly press the Info / Menu
button to cycle through the following information on the
radio's display:
● Radio text
● Program type
● Frequency
● Time & date
Note: If no RDS information is available, the radio will
be unable to display the station name, scrolling text and
program type information.
Presetting stations in DAB and FM modes
There are 5 memory presets each for DAB and FM radio.
They are used in the same way for each operating mode.
1.
Turn on the radio, then select the DAB or FM radio
mode and tune to the required radio station as
previously described.
2.
Press and hold the Preset button until the display
shows, for example, "Preset 1 stored". The station
will be stored under the chosen preset button. Repeat
this procedure as needed for the remaining presets.
Stations stored in preset memories may be overwritten
by following the above procedure.
Recalling a preset in DAB and FM modes
1.
Turn on the radio and then select the DAB or FM radio
mode using the Source button.
2.
Press the required Preset button to cause your radio to
tune to the station stored in preset memory.
Set up my EQ profile
You can set up a custom treble and bass as following:

Turn on the radio using the Power button.
