Troubleshooting
Weak Suction
• Even before reaching the MAX marking on the dust con-
tainer the suction of your vacuum cleaner can decrease.
In this case clean the filters as described in this manual in
chapter "Cleaning and Maintenance".
• Depending on the operating conditions this can be neces-
sary after a short while, e.g. when vacuuming fine dust.
CAUTION:
Only operate the device with dry filters.
• Recharge the batteries if the motor performance is reduced
during operation.
Unusual Noise
Should unusual noises occur during operation of the device
then some foreign object may be stuck in the floor brush.
• First have a look at the floor brush.
• Detach the round brush to remove the foreign object, if
necessary.

Remove Batteries / Battery Disposal
This device contains rechargeable Ni-MH batteries.
Remove the batteries before disposing of the device.
You are bound by law to return used batteries.
WARNING:
Disconnect from mains power supply before removing
the batteries!
Remove the batteries only in discharged condition.
Lengthen the telescopic tube.
Loosen the screw on the outlet grille with a Phillips screw-
driver. Remove the cover towards the handle.
Cut the battery wires.
Remove the 8 batteries.
Return the batteries to a collection point for used batteries or as
hazardous waste. Enquire at your municipal offices for further
information.
Meaning of the "Dustbin" Symbol
Protect our environment: do not dispose of electrical equipment
in the domestic waste.
Please return any electrical equipment that you will no longer
use to the collection points provided for their disposal.
This helps avoid the potential effects of incorrect disposal on
