f Connect the data cable to the female connector.
f Connect the female connector to the back of the appli-
ance.
12. Commissioning
12.1 Initial start-up
Note
during commissioning, a heating circuit is assigned
to the appliance.
f If the heating circuit needs changing after com-
missioning, you will have to perform a factory
reset on the appliance (SETTINgS / gENERAL /
FACTORY SETTINgS).
Once the appliance has been connected to the heat pump
manager, the commissioning assistant is launched. The com-
missioning assistant will guide you through the most impor-
tant basic settings.
f Select the heating circuit for which the appliance is re-
sponsible. You can also assign the heating circuit from
the heat pump manager (SETTINgS / HEATINg / REMOTE
CONTROL / HEATINg CIRC PRESELECTION).
12.2 Appliance handover
f Explain the appliance function to users and familiarise
them with how it works.

Hand over these operating and installation instruc-
tions to the user for safe-keeping. All information in
these instructions must be closely observed. The in-
structions provide information on safety, operation,
installation and maintenance of the appliance.

The guarantee conditions of our German companies do not
apply to appliances acquired outside of Germany. In countries
where our subsidiaries sell our products a guarantee can only
be issued by those subsidiaries. Such guarantee is only grant-
ed if the subsidiary has issued its own terms of guarantee. No
other guarantee will be granted.
We shall not provide any guarantee for appliances acquired in
countries where we have no subsidiary to sell our products.
This will not affect warranties issued by any importers.
Environment and recycling
f Dispose of the appliances and materials after use in accor-
dance with national regulations.
f If a crossed-out waste bin is pictured on the ap-
pliance, take the appliance to your local waste
and recycling centre or nearest retail take-back
point for reuse and recycling.
This document is made of recyclable paper.
f Dispose of the document at the end of the ap-
pliance's life cycle in accordance with national
regulations.
