This product contains no serviceable parts.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc.,
come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can
damage, weaken or destroy plastic which could
result in serious personal injury.
CLEANING/REPLACING THE FILTER
See Figures 6 - 7, page 8.
Clean the air filter assembly periodically to maintain best
performance of the vacuum. If you notice a reduction in
suction power or a change in the sound of the unit during
use, the air filter assembly should also be cleaned.

To clean the air filter assembly:
Remove the battery pack.
Remove the dust bowl.
Remove the pre-filter screen from the body of the vacuum.
Twist counterclockwise to release it from the housing
slots.
Remove the air filter by pulling it straight off the support.
Shake or lightly brush any dust off both the screen and
the filter. Rinse if necessary.
Empty the dust bowl; rinse if necessary.
Once the filter and screen are completely dry, place the
filter back into place.
Insert the pre-filter screen over the filter in the housing.
Turn clockwise to secure it in the notches.
NOTE: Make sure the pre-screen filter is secured inside
the notches on the vacuum housing. Never run the vac-
uum without the air filter, as this may damage the motor.
Reinstall dust bowl.
