Congratulation for choosing PL 1 the new
generation Richter motorised furniture
nozzle with the flexible bottom plate for a
perfect adherence to the surface and an
easy cleaning.
Please read these operating instructions
prior to use of the power nozzle.

Assembly
Plug in the spiral cable on the power nozzle
and connect the PL 1 power nozzle directly to
the hose handle. Connection and use with elec-
tric hose. Plug in the spiral cable on the hose
connector. Connect the hose and its power cord
to the unit.

Plug in the vacuum cleaner cable in the
socket. Make sure that the hose switch is OFF.
Switch on the unit.

The power nozzle brush can be turned on/
off using the button on the hose handle.
Connection and use with standard hose
Plug in the spiral cable on the extension cord.
Fit the hose clips on the hose making sure
that the clips are placed at even distances. Fix
the extension cord. Connect the hose and the
extension cable to the unit.
Plug in the vacuum cleaner cable in the socket.
Switch on the unit. The power nozzle will now
be switched on/off by switching on/off the
vacuum cleaner.
Green light

The green light turns on to indicate that the
brush is operating.
Removal the PL 1:
Switch off the unit and disconnect it.

FLEXPLATE
FLEXPLATE is a törlés flexible bottom plate for
deep cleaning.

To remove FLEXPLATE hold the plate at
one side edge. With little force turn it down over
the small side ramp. The locking of the plate
will lift and automatically release itself.

To assembly the Flexplate click the plate on
its lodgement.

Maintenance
Always switch off the unit and plug off the
power cord before cleaning the power nozzle.
Clean regularly the PL 1 after the use.
Cleaning of the brush
If threads and other matters get caught in the

brush roll, remove the carefully cut along the
cutting groove of the roller, being careful not to
damage the brush; then switch on the vacuum
cleaner to suck in the loosen threads. The
power nozzle can be wiped clean with a damp
piece of cloth.
Automatic switch-off function
If the brush is blocked the motor switches off

automatically. In this case switch off the unit,
remove whatever item has blocked the brush,
and switch it on again. If the power nozzle does
not start again after this procedure, contact
your local Pure Life service centre.

Adapter for using the nozzle together with
previous vacuum cleaner models.

Application

Cleaning with Flexplate
Use Flexplate to deeply clean mattresses,
couches, sofas, car seats and all kind of fabric
upholstery. The plate stretches the fabric sur-
faces creating a vacuum effect. This combined
with the suction performance of the S115 will
guarantee a deep efficient cleaning. The Flex-
plate high flexibility moreover makes the use of
the power nozzle light and simple.

Cleaning without Flexplate
Remove Flexplate to clean stairs and small
carpets. Those require air flow in order to allow
an optimal dust pick up.
